28 May General Membership Meeting

The Susquehanna Chapter hosted 18 members and guests at our General Membership meeting held May 28, 2025 at Liberatore's Ristorante in Bel Air.  Guest speaker Mike Griffith, Maryland State Delegate for District 35A, spoke on the results of the recent legislative session initiatives targeted to veterans and their families. Chapter President Bob Beahm presented Mike with a Chapter Certificate of Appreciation and a donation in his name to the MOAA Scholarship Fund.  

The Susquehanna Chapter was once again awarded 5 Star Level recognition from the 2024 Levels of Excellence (LOE) Award AND 5 Star Level recognition from the 2024 Colonel Marvin J. Harris Communications Award for Excellence for BOTH our web site AND our newsletter. Chapter President Bob Beahm pins the LOE recognition device on the MOAA Chapter streamer. Bill Beddow, Chapter Webmaster, accepts the certificate of recognition for this achievement for the website. Ted Newing accepts on behalf of Larry Archer, Chapter Newsletter Editor, the certificate of recognition for this achievement for the newsletter.
