9 July General Membership Meeting

The Susquehanna Chapter welcomed guest speaker Major General Janeen L. Birckhead, Adjutant General of the Maryland National Guard, at our General Membership meeting held July 9, 2025 at MacGregor's Restaurant in Havre de Grace.  Chapter President Bob Beahm presented MG Birckhead with a Chapter Certificate of Appreciation, a Chapter challenge coin, and a donation in her name to the MOAA Scholarship Fund.  

Chapter president Bob Beahm presented a Certificate of Recognition from the Aberdeen Proving Ground Garrison Headquarters recognizing Susquehanna Chapter member and Surviving Spouse Liaison Connie Richardson for her unselfish volunteer hours at the Post chapel and for the Spouses Club. Connie certainly emulates the  MOAA motto, "Never Stop Serving."

Chapter president Bob Beahm presented the MOAA Leadership Award from MOAA National President, Lieutenant General Brian Kelly to Bob Brown, for outstanding service as the Legislative Chair for the Susquehanna Chapter. Bob’s efforts in advancing the legislative agenda of MOAA continues to help improve the lives of the greater military community.
