On May 17, 2024, the Susquehanna Chapter supported the annual local Wounded Warrior event hosted by the APG Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Skeet and Trap Club. Servicemembers from Walter Reed Medical Center are invited to join the Skeet and Trap Club members for a day of shooting at the local range at APG South. Attendees were assisted by members of the Club while on the range and served a barbeque-style lunch courtesy of many volunteers.

The Chapter donated money for the purchase of ammunition and two members, Bill Whitford and Carl Kilhoffer, provided range support for the servicemembers for the event.  For those of you wondering how long this event has lasted, the exact number is lost in history, and the thinking is ten to fifteen years.
