Wreaths Across America December 2024

The Susquehanna Chapter, Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), participated in the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony at Aberdeen Proving Ground North and Edgewood Area cemeteries on December 14, 2024. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day the mission of Remember, Honor, and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 3,400 locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. Chapter Membership Chair Ted Newing presented a ceremonial wreath at the APG North cemetery and Chapter Immediate Past President Cathy Hampton presented a ceremonial wreath at the APG Edgewood Area cemetery. The local ceremonies were sponsored and coordinated by the APG Community Spouses Club.
