General Membership Meeting January 2025

The Susquehanna Chapter hosted 25 members and guests at our General Membership meeting held January 15, 2025 at MacGregor's Restaurant and it was a busy meeting.

We welcomed Matthew Ohler, first place essay winner of the 2024 Veterans Day Poster and Essay Contest. Matthew read his essay for us and was presented a MOAA challenge coin by our guest speaker, Frank Michael, Capt., USN (Ret).

Guest speaker Frank Michael, Capt., USN (Ret), MOAA National Senior Director, Affiliated Councils & Chapters, spoke on the many missions and support provided to veterans by MOAA. Chapter President Keith Reagan presented Frank with a Chapter Certificate of Appreciation and a donation in his name to the MOAA Scholarship Fund.

The elected officers for 2025, Bob Beahm – President and Connie Richardson – Secretary, were installed by MOAA National Staff Member Frank Michael. Absent were Ivan Montanez – Vice President and Frank King – Treasurer who were subsequently installed at the following meeting of the Board of Directors.

Keith Reagan presented the National MOAA President’s Award to Cathy Hampton for her outstanding 30 years of service to the Susquehanna Chapter, MOAA. Frank Michael presented the National MOAA Leadership Award to Keith Reagan upon the completion of his term as Chapter President.
